25-year-old Erin Wilson was arrested Sept. 1 after an investigation was launched by the Mount Pleasant Police Department.
MPPD received information of possible child abuse at Kidz Kare Academy Aug. 31, where Wilson was working.
According to the press release, detectives immediately began an investigation after receiving the information.
