The Northeast Texas Community College baseball team hit the field this past week to start fall baseball practices and wasted no time in getting involved in the community. The City of Mount Pleasant held a Cinco de Mayo festival downtown on Saturday, Aug. 28 since the original festival was canceled in the spring due to COVID restrictions.
