The latest literature indicates our agricultural fields are now 46 times more toxic to honeybees that they were just 26 years ago. Given the amount of pesticide-type sprays we put on our fields, this isn’t surprising. Compounding this is the fact that newly developed products tend to be much more toxic than the products they’re replacing; sometimes as much as a thousand times more toxic.
