A jury in the U.S. District Court - Eastern District found Jaquavion Veasley guilty on all charges on Feb. 4. Veasley was facing prosecution led by the U.S. Attorney’s Office for five counts of Conspiracy to Distribute Fentanyl Causing Death and Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl. His arrest occurred on January 23, 2025. Following the conviction, Veasley could now face a sentence ranging from 20 years to life in prison.
