Funeral Service for Chetina M. Aikins, 55, of Mt. Pleasant, will be 11:00 A.M Saturday, November 15, 2025 at First Church of God in Christ, Mt.
Pleasant. Burial in Rivers Cemetery, Daingerfield under the direction of Tumey Mortuary. She died November 7, 2025.
She was born September 10, 1970, to Henry Thomas and Ruby Mae (Gholston) Gallon.
A devoted member of First Church of God in Christ and graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School Class of 1990.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eric Aikins; her parents; grandparents; brothers Jimmy Lee Gholston, and Anthony Gallon Sr.
She is survived by her children Davon Hudson, Angel Aikins, Christopher Aikins, Jamarri (Keanna) Aikins, Breona Aikins, and Harmonie Gallon (niece); goddaughters Malazia Batiste and Kannyn Hines; siblings Tommy (Nancy) Gallon, Darlynn Gallon Brown, Alfred (Cheryl) Gallon, and Nichol Gallon Bruce; aunts Jeanette Mims, Josie Choice, Erma Miller; uncle Henry Franklin; great-aunt Bernice Banks; dear friend Monica Batiste; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.
