Remembering Bryan Kerchal A recap of one of pro fishing’s most legendary ‘Classic victories’
In 1994, Bryan Kerchal became first and only amateur angler to win the Bassmaster Classic. Sadly, his promising career came to a tragic ending 4 1/2 months later when he was killed in an airplane crash while traveling home after a sponsorship engagement. He was only 23.
