Kids College wraps up

NTCC’s 2023 Discovery Kids College wrapped up Thursday. More than 100 kids participated in 16 classes over the past two weeks.

Ramirez wins residency at Duke University

Clara Ramirez, NTCC’s pioneer winner of the Jack Kent Cooke Scholarship in 2010, recently won a residency at Duke University as a primary-care Administrative Fellow. She is moving this summer from her home in Fort Worth to Durham, North Carolina to assume her new role.

MPFD citizens academy registration open

The Mount Pleasant Fire Department announced that it is recruiting for its Citizen Fire Academy. Those interested must be at least 18-years-old and live or work in Titus County.
