Karlee Jane Rodgers is the top girl recipient of the Titus County Fair Associations’s Scholarship of $5000. Karlee is the daughter of Scott and Lyndee Rodgers and is a Senior at Mt. Pleasant High School, ranking 35 out of 390 in the 2026 graduating class.

During a council meeting for the City of Mount Pleasant on Tuesday, September 16, the council and Mayor Lyon Wesley approved to adopt a budget for the Fiscal Year 20252026, which would put $8,851 towards reserves.

This past week I learned that well known Christian author and speaker, Jen Hatmaker, announced she was out of the church for the time being. In 2020, she announced that she and her husband were divorcing. The next year she stopped attending church.
