During a council meeting for the City of Mount Pleasant on Tuesday, September 16, the council and Mayor Lyon Wesley approved to adopt a budget for the Fiscal Year 20252026, which would put $8,851 towards reserves.

This past week I learned that well known Christian author and speaker, Jen Hatmaker, announced she was out of the church for the time being. In 2020, she announced that she and her husband were divorcing. The next year she stopped attending church.
