Guaranty Bank & Trust wins 2025 NTCC Foundation Golf Classic

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation held its annual Golf Classic on Monday, Oct. 27th at Daingerfield Country Club. The tournament raised over $11,000 to support the NTCC Work4College Program.The Guaranty Bank and Trust team won the sixman- scramble, shooting 18 under.

MPHS holds National Honor Society induction ceremony

Eight seniors and eighty-four juniors were inducted into the Mount Pleasant High School chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) during a special ceremony on Monday, October 27 in the Mount Pleasant High School Auditorium.

Chapel Hill Students Lead Community Cleanup Effort

Chapel Hill ISD students are making a difference in their community. Members of the Junior High National Honor Society, Junior High Student Council, and High School National Honor Society recently teamed up for a community cleanup project along the county roads surrounding the Chapel Hill campus.

MPHS UIL places 2nd at Pine Tree Walk the Plank Invitational

The Mount Pleasant High School UIL Academic team continued its fall season on Saturday, November 1 at the Walk the Plank Invitational at Pine Tree. MPHS was the 2nd place team overall in the large school division boasting three 1st place and four 2nd place team finishes.
