Several years ago, I drove several times to Hot Springs, Arkansas, the hometown of my early childhood days, to gather history and information for a novel, and the canvas of my walk took on new meaning when a family secret was unearthed.

2025 Christmas Parade wIll be a magical event

Experience the wonder of Christmas and be a part of one of Northeast Texas’ largest Christmas Parades. Mount Pleasant Rotary Club’s 34th Annual Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 6 p.m.

ETMIH celebrate love at Whatley Concert

East Texas Men in Harmony performed their show, “Seasons of Love” on Nov. 22 at NTCC’s Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The show featured songs that reflect romantic and familial love, as well as love for one’s country and faith.
