Local preschooler fights rare skin condition

Mount Pleasant 4-year-old Logan Duncan has now returned to everyday life after battling a very rare skin condition in Dallas Children’s Hospital last week. Last Thursday, Duncan’s mother, Di Ana Fitzgerald picked him up and noticed a small scratch on his neck which looked inflamed.

Jennifer Nelms was promoted to Senior Vice-President, Jonnie Bankhead and Lori Benson were promoted to Vice-President, Kandace Davidson was promoted to Assistant Vice-President, Rhonda Kittle was promoted to Assistant Vice-President/ Assistant Branch Manager of the Mt. Pleasant branch, Karen McDowell and Brandi Allred were promoted to Senior Accountant, and Kimberly Ross was promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of the Clarksville branch.

Gateway Bronco gives $5,000 for Shelby Automotive scholarships

The Northeast Texas Community College Foundation recently received a $5,000 gift from Gateway Bronco. The funds will be used to provide scholarships for students in NTCC’s Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology Program. Seth Burgett (center), owner of Gateway Bronco, is pictured presenting the gift to Dr. Jonathan McCullough (left), NTCC Executive Vice President for Advancement, and Dr. Kevin Rose (right), NTCC Vice President for Instruction, at a recent Barrett-Jackson event in Scottsdale, Arizona. Gateway Bronco, based in Illinois, performs custom restoration on classic Ford Broncos. In addition to providing financial support to the Shelby Automotive Program, Gateway has also provided internship opportunities for NTCC students.
