Chapel Hill FCCLA Competes at State

Eleven students competed this past week in FCCLA state competition. Litzy Banda placed 3rd in Serving Up Success, Jordan Mizell and Elizabeth Brown placed 3rd in Event Management, Blakely McCollum and Makaylee Montgomery placed 8th in Promote and Publicize FCCLA!, and Marlen Morales and Kendall Bryant placed 9th in Professional Presentation. We are so proud of all their hard work.

Inmates clean up county

Over the last few weeks, Sheriff Tim Ingram assigned inmate work detail to pick up trash. The crews picked up trash on CR4950, 14th Street in Mt. Pleasant, and the creek in Dellwood Park. All combined the crews pick up 52 bags of trash and other debris. COURTESY PHOTO
