Happy campers

Chapel Hill Elementary hosted their campus campout Friday for their students and parents. Families set up their tents on the playground, enjoyed hot dogs, s’mores and an outdoor movie. For more photos, see page 2.

Showing Love, support at the fair

On Saturday, September 30th was the annual Titus County Fair Sale. During the sale, the community and buyers showed support for Peyton Love. Peyton is a senior at Chapel Hill ISD. Peyton was involved in a terrible car accident that put her in the Parkland, Dallas hospital.

DPS names first female Texas Ranger Major in history

The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) announces the promotion of Texas Ranger Captain Wende O. Wakeman to the rank of major, making her the first female Ranger major in the organization’s storied two-hundred-year history.

RWW TEACH cuts ribbon

RRW TEACH held a ribbon cutting recently. RRW TEACH’s mission is to guide individuals into building better futures for themselves to foster families throughout East Texas. They also offer marriage counseling, parental education, health education, job readiness as well as college preparation.
