• Thereare131inmates in jail with 115 males and 16 females. Since Oct. 31 the following have been booked into the jail: Nov. 1 • ClaudioO.Ruiz,24 of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested on a warrant for Assault. • RoyceD.Wilson,55 of Mt. Pleasant, was arrested for Possession of Marihuana. Nov.

Eagles Rodeo update

The Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo Team has been busy the last week with Rodeos on back to back weekends. NTCC hosted the third Rodeo of season October 20-21 at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Arena and then went to McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana October 26-28.

MPHS holds National Honor Society induction ceremony

Sixteen seniors and fifty-seven juniors were inducted into the Mount Pleasant High School chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) during a special ceremony on Monday, October 30 in the MPHS Auditorium.
