Eagles Rodeo update

The Northeast Texas Community College Rodeo Team has been busy the last week with Rodeos on back to back weekends. NTCC hosted the third Rodeo of season October 20-21 at the Mount Pleasant Rodeo Association Arena and then went to McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana October 26-28.

NTCC board holds October meeting

The Northeast Texas Community College Board of Trustees met for its regular October meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 31. All six members were present. The seventh seat on the board is currently vacant, as Dr. Dan McCauley retired from his position in September.

MPJH students selected for All-Region Choir

Thirteen Mount Pleasant Junior High School choir students auditioned for places in the UIL Junior High All-Region Choir, with six making the cut and two chosen as first alternates. To earn a place in the choir, each singer had to learn three selections and sing parts of each in a blind audition.
