The Rivercrest High School class of 2020 toss their grad caps as they celebrate the end of their high school career. The graduation was held May 29; while seating was limited to encourage social distancing, the ceremony was streamed on Rivercrest ISD’s Facebook page.
The Mount Pleasant Police Department was announced as a winner of the Pay it Forward campaign by the Aftermath Company, for their work in getting protective items, like masks, to the citizens of Mount Pleasant. The department is one of twelve across the United States to earn the honor.
More free testing at the Mount Pleasant Civic Center will be held Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and this time, no symptoms are required.
Motorcyclists traveled throughout Northeast Texas Saturday, with a pitstop in Mount Pleasant at Wood Air.
