Two young ladies from Northeast Texas are celebrating their first place wins at the 2024 Miss Juneteenth Texas state pageant.Daingerfield native Kaidlen Key competed in the pageant on Saturday, July 13, and won 1st place in the Miss Juneteenth category in Texas City.Key also won best in the essay category, as well as in talent.
