Tiger varsity golf competes at invitational

  • The Tiger Varsity golf team competed Wednesday, Feb. 14 in the Sabine Invitational at Tempest Golf Club in Gladewater, bringing home third place as a team. Sophomore, Jacob Baker, was the tournament champion, earning first place with a score of 69. Sophomore Brandon Carter shot an 81, with seniors Braiden Merryman and Owen Green shooting an 85 and 88 respectively. And sophomore Alessandro Greco rounded out scoring with a 104. MPHS golf is coached by Benny Blaser.
