If you find yourself wanting to do something to make the community you live in just a little bit better, you will soon have that chance with the upcoming Serve Mount Pleasant Day.
A joint effort of the City of Mount Pleasant, the Mount Pleasant/ Titus County Chamber of Commerce, and Pilgrim’s, Serve Mount Pleasant Day is an opportunity for the community to gather together and work on service projects around the city. Two of the sites already selected to see volunteers are Dellwood Park and Heritage Park.
Volunteers are needed for the event that will take place on Saturday, September 10. Volunteers will work at the selected sites from 8 a.m. through 11:30 a.m. and then lunch will be provided for all who donate their time and energy. Volunteers of any age are welcome to join.
