A plane crash late Sunday night near the Mount Pleasant Regional Airport has left one dead and several people injured and the National Transportation Safety Board looking for answers.
The plane was identified as a Piper PA-32, a single engine plane that carries up to six people. The PA-32 is widely used as a means of private transportation, air taxi services and as a medivac plane.
