Program to create ‘better-informed citizens’
The Mount Pleasant Fire Department announced that it is recruiting for its Citizen Fire Academy.
Those interested must be at least 18-years-old and live or work in Titus County.
The academy offers a ten-week course, which will begin Aug. 14 at 728 E. Ferguson. Students will meet from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday evenings and classes will include hands-on instruction.
