MLK celebration held

A commemorative celebration honoring Martin Luther King, Jr. was held at Pilgrim’s Community Center at Oaklawn Park Saturday. Honorees included J.C. White, Lesia Lewis and Roy Henry, and Pilgrim’s complex manager Rafael Boyd spoke.The event was sponsored by NAACP Branch 6243.
