On Wednesday around 2 p.m., a 2016 Kenworth semi hauling a 2019 Fontenelle trailer was traveling north on US 271 approximately nine miles north of Mount Pleasant when, for an undetermined reason, the vehicle left the roadway, striking several trees and rolling over.
