As work begins to repair and resurface State Highway 49 (Ferguson Road) in Mount Pleasant, the Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) will be closing the westbound lanes of the highway from Business 271 (Jefferson Avenue) to the city limits. All traffic will be moved to the eastbound lanes.
