    On Friday, what began as a small fire quickly grew out of control in Chapel Hill, igniting 41 acres of land across six properties and jumping one county road. Mount Pleasant Fire Department, Cookville Volunteer Fire Department, and Nortex Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene and immediately began efforts to extinguish the fire.
