Cause of fire still under investigation

    Just after 9:30 p.m. on January 25, the Mount Pleasant Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at an abandoned convenience store at 18 Javier Lane in Miller’s Cove. Joining them on the scene of the blaze were firefighters from Argo VFD, Nortex VFD, Cookville VFD, Tri-Lakes VFD, 5-Star VFD, and Mount Pleasant VFD.
