Warning in effect through Wednesday, triple digits possible
A round of heat advisories for east Texas have been in effect, and an excessive heat warning for the region is in effect until 9 p.m. Wednesday, with triple digit temperatures possible throughout the week.
According to the National Weather Service, hotter and humid conditions are expected “as an upper level ridge of high pressure continues to expand east into the region.”
