At 5:54 a.m. on Thursday, firefighters responded to a structure fire in Cookville on County Road 3070. Upon arrival, the Mount Pleasant Fire Department found a shed measuring approximately 400 square feet engulfed in flames, with a mobile home nearby.
MPFD was assisted by Cookville, Nortex, Tri-Lakes, Talco, and Argo Fire Departments.
