Free Soil and Litter Testing Drive
There will be a free Soil and Litter Testing Drive for Franklin, Titus, Camp and Morris county residents. Hosted by the Sulphur-Cypress Soil and Water Conservation Districts, samples are to be dropped off from now through March 1 at the SWCD office: 1809 W. Ferguson Rd, Ste D, Mt. Pleasant, TX 75455. 903-572-5411 ext. 3. Limit one litter and five soil samples, or $100 per farm.

Private Applicator Training
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension is offering a Private Applicator Training on Feb. 11 at the Cotton Belt Building, 1517 West Front Street, Suite 116A, Tyler from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Training is required for all private applicators. Study materials are available for purchase, and a $10 training fee will be charged the day of the training.

Historic Highway 11 Trails consists of many miles of antiques, treasures, and sales up and down Highway 11 on april 7 through 9. There will be shops open as well as vendors on the sides of the road.

Women Empowering Women
Hope Ministries CONNECT, The Whatley Center for the Performing Arts at NTCC, is hosting Women Empowering Women on April 9 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Speakers will be Leslie James, Regina Glass, Chanda Fulgium and Sheletha Bratton. Tickets are $25, student tickets are $15, meal is included. Showcase your products at a booth located in the foyer. We break various times to provide all guests with ample time to shop your booth.
