The Caddo Trace Bee-Keepers Association will have it’s monthly meeting Monday 8/09/21 in the Titus County Agri-Life building. There will be a Q&A session from 6:30 p.m. and the meeting will start at 7:00 p.m., we will be having a talk over “Hive Alternatives “ by Trev Powell.

Aug. 14

Convention of States Monthly Meeting: This month’s meeting will be held in the banquet room at Luigi’s Italian Restaurant in Mt. Pleasant, Tx.

Our speaker will be John Van Compernolle, who will give us specifics on the Convention of States, what we do, what our goal is, what our mission is, how did the country get to be in a fight for Liberty vs. Tyranny! Time for a refresher into our goals and our mission and give our newest members insight into the importance of being involved in fighting for our country.

Aug. 17

Cypress Basin Hospice National Thrift Store Day event: Both stores, MP and Pittsburg will be celebrating it and having the same promotion. It will be on August 17th from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. We will have a 30% discount all day long! We will give away 2 loyalty gift cards valued at $20 each and will draw for a winner on Friday, 8/20! Refreshments will be provided.

Greater Bible Way will have a Women’s Conference Saturday, August 28, at 9 a.m. Attorney Amber Booker Webb will be the guest speaker. Pastor Bertrand Baley Jr. will be the speaker. The church is located at 503 School St in Mt. Pleasant.

The Cass County Genealogical Society

“Second Tuesday Meeting”

Tuesday August 10th , 2021.

This meeting will include a special guest speaker and C. C. G. S. member Kay Stephens, who will provide us with a Power Point Presentation on “The Weaks and The Days”, two of her family lines. You won’t want to miss this interesting and informative program.

The meetings start at 6:30 pm and we hope that as many of you as possible will join us and bring a friend to the meeting in the Fellowship Hall of the First United Methodist Church of Queen City, Texas at the corner of Marietta and Fourth Streets.

As always, we will serve a light meal and beverages and the public is always invited.
