Warren will be the guest artist at the Mount Pleasant Art Society’s monthly meeting onMarch5th,at2:00PM. In addition, Warren will conduct a 2-day watercolor workshop on March 6 and 7, from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM. MPAS is located at 5059 FM 1402 (Harts Bluff Road). The Workshop is limited to 15 participants and non-members are welcome to register. Cost of the workshop is $250 for members and $275 for non-members. The non-member rate includes membership in MPAS, as well as discounted cost for other workshops held through August.. To hold workshop space, a non-refundable deposit of $100 is required with the balance payable at the workshop.

A supply list will be given to registrants who should plan to bring their own lunch or snacks (microwave and refrigerator available).

The MPAS (Mt Pleasant Art Society) will have its Annual Spring Show at NTCC’s Whatley Center for Performing Arts March 11-March 31st. The Reception will be held Saturday, March 11th, 2:00-3:30. Please come and go! There will be refreshments and beautiful art to enjoy. People will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite piece of artwork for the “People’s Choice Award” which will be awarded at the end of the shows run.

Caddo Trace Beekeepers Meeting Caddo Trace Beekeepers Association will have its regular monthly meeting Monday, March 13, 2023, in the Agri-Life Building at 1708 Industrial Road in Mt. Pleasant.
Jesse Wright will have his question/ answer session starting at 6:30 pm, and the meeting will start at 7:00 pm. Our March speaker will be Brenda Mc-Laughlin. She will be speaking on Native Plants. The public is invited to attend.

NE TX Forest Landowners Meeting NE TX Forest Landowners (NETFLA) will meet on Friday March 17, at 10 AM at Luigi’s Cafe, 2213 West Ferguson, Mt. Pleasant. The program will address how a Consulting Forrester can assist landowners in managing their forestland, getting multiple bids for a timber sale, managing the timber harvest, and then reforestation of the tract after a final harvest.
