City, County discussing fire protection contract renewal terms

At the last meeting of the Titus County Commissioners Court, fire protection was once again the hot topic. Mount Pleasant Fire Chief Larry McRae, City Manager Ed Thatcher, and Finance Director Miykael Reeve were in attendance to discuss the terms for renewing the contract between the City and County.
