Project to honor athletic heroes
The city of Mount Pleasant announced that they are collecting pictures of “Hometown Athletic Heroes,” in order to create a display at Oaklawn Park, at the new Pilgrim’s Community Center, a project scheduled to begin in 2022.
Pictures of students who have gone off to play college or professional sports are wanted; every sport is welcomed.
