Locals celebrated the highly anticipated grand opening of the Mount Pleasant sports complex Thursday evening.
Festivities included live music, miniature train rides; kiddos enjoyed the two play areas and splash pad.
The park, located at 100 Billy Wayne Flanagan Parkway off of Business 271, includes playgrounds, soccer fields, concession area, splash pad and trails.
