On March 21, 2023 Mount Pleasant City Council held a meeting. The council discussed considering awarding the Bid for the Pavement Rehabilitation Phase III Project. This is the annual Pavement Rehabilitation Project to keep up with the road maintenance. They have budgeted for about 750,000 dollars for this project each year.
