“I believe in the future of agriculture.” If you ever had the opportunity to wear that blue and gold you will recognize those words as the opening to the FFA Creed written by E.M. Tiffany. The “future” of agriculture has been gathered this week in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the 95th National Convention. Chapel Hill Northeast FFA members were a part of the approximate 65,000 members, advisors, advocates and sponsors in attendance. This week-long experience is a learning opportunity for students to grow in their understanding of leadership, service and agricultural awareness.

Chapel Hill Northeast Chapter President Jayce Eubanks was excited to make this trip during her Senior year. “My favorite part about the convention experience is learning new things and meeting new people from across the nation. I am grateful for this opportunity to make connections and network with other students that share my passion. This opens doors for MY future in agriculture,” said Eubanks.

“National FFA Convention is the Super Bowl of a student’s FFA journey. One of the most impressive sites is the sea of blue jackets flooding the streets of the convention city. Even though you are looking at over 60,000 students, you know we are all connected by our passions for agriculture and leadership,” said Josh Stegall, Chapel Hill Director of CTE and Accountability.

Chapel Hill Northeast members who made the trip included: Analeigh Dunn, Jayce Eubanks, Isela Gonzalez, Reese Hill, Drake Klepzig, Bo Schmitt, Chloe Snodgrass, Mackenzie Taylor, Raini Taylor.
