Robert Case of Pittsburg and Morris McCutcheon of Winnsboro teamed up to win the Bass Champs North Division team event on April 1 at Cedar Creek. Case/McCutcheon topped 232 teams with a five-fish sack weighing 23.46. They earned $20,700 cash.
Mark McWhirter of Argyle and Zeb Strickland of Pilot Point took second with a 23.43 pound limit anchored by the tournament’s heaviest bass, a 9.97 pounder.
