She died peacefully in the Critical Care Unit at the Atrium Health Unit in Monroe, N.C., with her husband, son, brother, and sister-in-law by her bedside. To the end, she retained a strong faith in Jesus Christ and a deep love for her husband, Sam Roberts, and son, Jason Roberts.
