Mount Pleasant JV picks up win against Jacksonville

If you haven’t been to watch the Mount Pleasant Junior Varsity Tigers play this year then you have no idea what you are missing.

The Tigers took on the Jacksonville Indians this past Thursday at Sam Parker field in a wildly entertaining game. On the first drive Kaleb Thompson hit Peter Noah on a 36 yard pass on 3rd and long for the touchdown and then Thompson ran it in himself for the 2 pt. conversion to get the Tigers off to an 8-0 lead.

After a defensive stop the Tiger offense went to work again with some nifty running by Jaylon Williams behind the blocking of Ceasar Ramirez and Steven Luna. Williams finished off the drive by running it in from 4 yards out. Thompson hit Terrick Johnson on a fade route in the back of the end zone for the 2 pt. conversion.
