Chapel Hill volleyball season comes to an end

The Chapel Hill Lady Devils’ season came to an end on Monday night with a UIL Bi-District loss to New Boston. In game one both teams had the jitters, as would any team in a first playoff game. New Boston won game one 19-25. In game two, the nerves settled down for both teams but New Boston got out to an early lead that the Lady Devils had to work to cut into. A valiant effort for a comeback was cut short with Lady Lions taking game two, 21-25. Game three was a different story as Chapel Hill started out on fire, taking an early game lead. The game went back and forth all the way to a 24-24 tie, with the match coming down to who could win by two. Ultimately, New Boston pulled it out with a 24-26 win to take the match and advance the UIL Playoffs.
