Point Guard: #1 Kaylyn Tompkins (5’6, Jr., 3rd year letterman) 2017 Stats – 7.4 ppg, 60.4% FT, 3rd in steals, 3rd in assists Kaylyn has been groomed for this position for the past two years. She is one of the fastest girls in district and will be considered one of the top point guards in the district. State qualifier in XC; Regional qualifier in track. Shooting Guard: #5 Rebekah Crane (5’7, Soph., 2nd year letterman) 2017 Stats – 9.4 ppg, 74.3% FT, 1st in rebounds, 1st in steals, 2nd in assists Rebekah could very well be the best player in the district. She can score from anywhere on the floor and should make a run for high district honors. Regional qualifier in tennis. Shooting Guard: #22 Mason Garrett (5’6, Soph., 2nd year letterman) 2017 Stats – 13.9 ppg, 78.6% FT, 1st in 3’s, 2nd in steals, 2nd in rebounds Mason is one of the top sharp-shooters in the state. She made 108 3’s, which finished 8th best in the state in all classifications. Great defensive and offensive player. State qualifier in golf. Shooting Guard: #3 Ja’Mya Bishop (5’4, Jr., 2nd year letterman) 2017 Stats – 4.3 ppg, 67.9% FT, 4th in steals, 4th in assists Ja’Mya is the top defensive specialist. She is always matched up with the top opponents’ guard. Regional qualifier in volleyball. Forward: #14 Erica Waldo (5’9, Sr., 3rd year letterman) 2017 Stats – 5.1 ppg, 69.8 FT, 3rd in rebounds Erica is a phenomenal player that can play inside and is also a devastating shooter from the 3-point line. She has 39 career 3’s, causing opposing post defenders much grief. Erica should be one of the top forwards in district.
