Bertha M. Capps was born in the Spring Hill area near Mt. Pleasant, Texas on May 27, 1932 to James Aubrey and Pearl Estell (Storey) Pilgrim. She went to her heavenly reward surrounded by her family on October 24, 2023 at the young age of 91.

Mary Hortence Walker entered into her heavenly home shortly after midnight on October 21, 2023 in Winnsboro, Texas, where she had been a resident of Autumn Winds Assisted Living. She was greeted by her Lord, Creator, and Savior and a host of family and friends. She was the last of 10 siblings to make her final trip to her eternal home.
