Harley Kimber Jr. of Mt. Pleasant passed away on March 28, 2021 at the age of 77. He was born February 26, 1944, to Harley Kimber Sr. and Margaret (Diepenhorst) Kimber in Holland, Michigan.
Harley grew up in Michigan where he attended school. He served two years in the Army in Vietnam. He was a self-employed contractor having worked in landscaping for the State of Texas. He was one of a kind and a self-taught individual. Harley was a Baptist coming to Mt. Pleasant from Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, and one sister Pat Ross.
He is survived by one son Harley Kimber, III and his wife Rebecca of Arkansas; two daughters Tammy Kimber, Evonne Healy and her husband Terry all of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; along with his five grandchildren Asia Hammond of Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Sgt. Harley Kimber of El Paso, Texas, Hunter Kimber of Ft. Lewis, Washington, Devon Keith, Tyberius Keith both of Mt. Pleasant, Texas; brothers Ervin Kimber, Chuck Kimber, Herm Kimber and one sister Evelyn Kimber all of Holland, Michigan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
There will be no services scheduled and cremation services are under the direction of Tumey Mortuary, Mt. Pleasant.
