NET Health seeks to vaccinate, educate local communities

The Northeast Texas Public Health District (NET Health) is currently participating in a $12.5 million Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) research project dedicated to learning about the populations of Texas and why some groups are more willing to get vaccinated than others.

Vandals damage new basketball courts

Vandals recently targeted the newly resurfaced Heritage Park basketball courts and caused a bit of damage to them. Skid marks are present throughout the courts, and large holes in the surface were worn by the tires. HBISD urges families to file application for P-EBT

“Harts Bluff families, in order to qualify to receive the P-EBT benefit for the 21-22 school year you must have an approved NSLP household meal application on file by April 29th 2022. Your child may receive free meals currently because of the Texas Department of Agriculture COVID-19 waivers but this does not necessarily mean that your child is eligible to receive free and reduced meals otherwise,” says the district.

DeCohen donates to Corprew PE

Viviana DeCohen made a $500 donation to the Corprew P.E. department on Thursday, March 24, in memory of her daughter, Angelica Beard.
