Downtown Pittsburg will be totally transformed in just a few weeks for the return of the Texas Hot Link Festival set for April 30 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. One featured area of the festival will be the Farmers Market thanks to the support and sponsorship of local partner Pilgrim’s.

The theatre department at Northeast Texas Community College is pleased to present A Night of Shorts…But Not the Bermuda Kind April 21-23 on the stage of the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts. The production will include five short plays written and directed by Dr. Page Petrucka, NTCC Associate Professor of Theatre.

Jessie Parchman’s international Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Vice President campaign has come to a close. Jessie Parchman, dual credit student and Chapel Hill Senior, and Northeast Texas Presidential Scholar, attended the PTK International conference this past week.

MPISD celebrated “Grant Day” on April 1 with a great deal of excitement and fanfare provided by members of the MPHS Goin’ Gold Band, Varsity Cheer squad, and Tiger Doll officers. The MPISD Education Foundation proudly awarded $37,778.01 to 42 individual staff members on every campus in the district.
