Students pledge to ‘say no to drugs’ during Red Ribbon Week
From Oct. 23 to Oct. 26, during national Red Ribbon Week, MPISD campuses scheduled special events to inform students about the dangers of drug abuse — and encourage them to take a pledge to “say no to drugs.” Each campus adopted a theme for each day of the week. Students and staff dressed according to the theme. Many campuses also planned age-appropriate special programs to encourage students to stay drug-free.
